Bruce G. Carruthers has been elected Member of the American Academy of
Arts and Sciences 2024. He joins Class III - Social and Behavioral Sciences/
Section 6: Sociology, Demography, and Geography.

Bruce Carruthers is a SCAS Non-resident Long-term Fellow for Programmes
on  Global Governance. He was in residence at the Collegium in the academic
year 2018-19, as well as during shorter periods of the spring terms of 2022 and
2023. He is also spending May of 2024 at SCAS.

Valentyna Savchyn has been appointed Senior Lecturer in Ukrainian at the
Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund University, where she also holds
the title of Docent.

Valentyna Savchyn was a Fellow in residence at SCAS in the academic years
2021-22 and 2022-23.
